The curling rink is white with red and blue targets. The Acton Curling Club has to create a layer of ice, which is then painted white and covered over with other layers of ice. The targets are then painted with more layers of ice applied.

The ice has been painted and additional ice layers are being added.

The hard working gang got a very early start on the Saturday.
